The trailer model is unknown but it has been refurbished and according to the owner, serves the boat reliably.
Equipment/Options
Own with pride a piece of history. This 1947 Garwood Ensign Deluxe Utility was number 539 of the last 750 that Garwood made in 1947 before the company closed doors. It is truly one of the last Garwoods made. A classic beautifully maintained with the original Chrysler Crown engine, 115 HP, original chrome fittings, upholstery holding true to the original design, and original production certificates to verify authenticity. Current owner has owned the boat since 2013 and it has been used primarily on Donner Lake (near Lake Tahoe), California. While the last engine rebuild was circa 1990s, with very few hours, the compression tests are superb and she runs smooth as a top. With a top speed of 37 MPH, you will be noticed on the water. The original bottom was replaced with a 5200 bottom circa 1990’s and newly painted last year. The fuel pump was rebuilt in 2014. Included are all the original operating manuals and engine maintenance and repair manuals.
